Wondering if you should follow Dave Ramsey’s advice and never use a credit card?
If you cannot control your spending when using a credit card you should absolutely cut that thing up and run away from it.
However, if you have enough self control to limit spending and pay off your credit card in full every single month, then in my opinion you should get a credit card and earn the rewards that most credit cards offer.
You can easily make 2% cash back on every purchase when using a credit card. This should only be done if you can completely pay off your credit card every month.
Credit card interest can be one of the highest interest rates you’ll ever pay on a loan. Often credit card interest rates are more than 20% annually. That is an insane interest rate!
Be smart when using a credit card. Limit your spending and pay off your credit card every single month!
