I was honoured to take part in the Virtuoso Cruise Mastery Program – Session 3: Visibility & Influence – Getting Social, Seen & Heard, speaking alongside Tony Logan from the Virtuoso Cruise Icon Program and Ellen McIlvaine, Vice President of Sales, Americas for Ponant.
We met with about 80 new (or soon-to-be!) Virtuoso Cruise Icon travel advisors, sharing how I’ve built my business and personal brand at Lush Life Travel — and how I focus on the cruises and experiences that truly inspire me. 💙
We explored questions like:
• How do you decide what kind of content builds real engagement with cruise clients?
• What strategies work best to grow your personal brand — without feeling “salesy”?
• Can you share an example where video or storytelling directly led to bookings?
• How do you stay authentic while positioning yourself as a luxury expert?
• Which social platforms deliver the strongest return — and how do you measure success?
For me, it all comes down to intention — sharing what I genuinely love. From expedition ships that reach the world’s most remote places to river cruises that immerse you in history and culture, my goal is always to inspire connection and curiosity.
And of course, I bring my whole self into everything I do: my voice, humour, family, Newfoundland roots, former actuarial career, and yes — my Blue Jays fandom ⚾️🇨🇦.
