Three days in a row. Ten miles each. This is where the real fitness starts to build.
Today’s run — 10.00 miles at an 8:29 pace with a 137 bpm heart rate — felt strong despite the back-to-back mileage stacking up. My legs are tired, but that’s exactly how marathon strength is built: one day at a time, one mile at a time.
I’m training for the Philadelphia Marathon on November 23, and these consistent 10-mile runs are becoming the foundation of my endurance. Every morning I’m learning more about pacing, patience, and the mental grind of marathon prep.
Follow along for daily running uploads, long runs, and full training recaps as I push toward 26.2 in Philly!
