This new credit card news is bad news for consumers
The APRs on credit cards are not changing unfortunately.
According to this new credit card news article by CNBC, banks are keeping credit card APRs the same even though a ruling from the CFPB was put to an end.
Retail credit card APRs will stay sky high with many of retail credit card APRs remaining above 30%.
If you have a credit card, this news is bad news and very concerning.
If the banks aren’t decreasing credit card rates even after the CFPB ruling was put to an end, you can expect banks to continue to raise credit card APRs in the future.
Carrying over balances on your credit card can prove to be devastating to your finances.
