Wrapping up the week with a total of 38 miles from September 7–14 ✅ This one was a cutback week, dialing back the volume to let the body reset before stacking more miles next week. These lower-mileage weeks are just as important as the heavy ones — recovery is part of the process and keeps the momentum building.
Every run this week had a purpose, from easy miles to longer efforts, and it’s all laying the foundation for the bigger training blocks ahead. Consistency is key, and I’m sharing these weekly recaps to keep the journey real and to show what marathon prep looks like day by day, week by week.
