Today’s training was a little different — I walked 18 holes of golf this morning, shot an 85, and then laced up for a 12.04 mile run at an 8:55 pace with a 140 bpm average heart rate. The combo of golf + running definitely made it a challenge, but that’s what consistency and marathon training are all about.
These daily runs are a way to stay accountable, share the grind, and show the ups and downs of building fitness. Whether it’s a fast 5K or a long steady run like today, every mile adds to the bigger picture.
