I just bought a 2001 BMW Z3 convertible for £1900 on Facebook Marketplace — and this short is your first look at it. This 24-year-old, rear-wheel-drive German sports car is already full of character (and chaos). In just the first couple of days I’ve owned it, the bonnet has seized shut, and I’ve already had someone crash into me. Clearly, this Z3 is going to keep me on my toes.
This video is a quick edit showing off the car, the details, and a little taste of what’s to come. Together with my best mate Liam Richards, who just picked up a cheap Porsche Boxster, we’re setting out on a Top Gear style UK road trip series. Expect budget sports cars, mechanical madness, camping, cooking, and exploring some of the UK’s most incredible historical sites.
