Pothole-filled 6 Mile Road drawing ire of residents in Newton Township

マイル

Watch as WWMT’s Carter Landis shows us the condition of 6 Mile Road in Newton Township, which has drawn the displeasure of residents due to its poor condition.

Crews have been issuing short-term fixes for the many potholes on roads, like 6 Mile off of B Drive South, but residents want to see a more long-term fix.

The Calhoun County Road Department said 6 Mile will be crushed, graded, and overlaid with hot mix asphalt, a more long-term solution.

The millage that passed last February will fund 25% of the costs.
