A short video of my crossing of Georgia Strait from Keats Island to New Castle Island in British Columbia, Canada. The trip was about 20 nautical miles in March 2025. A pretty tame singlehanded crossing, very much “Peaceful Warrior” type stuff! A little more about singlehanded cruising in this one: a quick summary of how I tether myself to the boat, cooking and eating on a four-hour crossing, tieing up to a mooring, some discussion and tactics on the dangers of urinating over the side, as well as plain old chilling out and relaxing.
