RBI has now proposed to allow linking of credit cards to UPI. Initially, only Rupay credit cards will be enabled with this facility.
Earlier, UPI payments could be made from a bank account by linking one’s bank account to UPI. But now you would be able to connect your credit card to UPI and make payments to anyone and get the interest free time you usually get with the credit card.
As per the latest update, this facility will be operational within the next two months.
