First 50+ Mile Week! | 52 Miles Total & My Longest Run Yet (18 Miles) | Philly Marathon Training 🫡

This week was a breakthrough in my Philadelphia Marathon training — my first time ever running over 50 miles in a single week! I logged 52 miles total, capped off with an 18-mile long run that pushed me further than I’ve ever gone before.

Here’s the full breakdown of my training week:
• Consistent daily runs to build volume
• Managed tough humidity and windy conditions
• Focused on pacing, fueling, and recovery
• Ended the week with a huge confidence boost heading into race prep

Every mile this week brought me one step closer to the Philadelphia Marathon on November 23. Training at this volume is both physically and mentally demanding, but it’s milestones like these — crossing into 50+ mile territory — that make the grind worth it.
