Four Winners For Dane Nelson In Two Days At Century Mile, Canada

Jockey Dane Nelson was in imperious form over the two race days of Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26, 2025, with four winners at the Century Mile track in Canada.
Nelson started on Friday by piloting the Ganzalo Anderson trained number one, Lil Miss Addy to victory in the fifth of nine races.
The jockey – trainer combo visited the winners’ enclosure for the second occasion in the eighth race with number two, Sir Bergovic.
On Saturday, Nelson guided the James Brown conditioned Kulsum to victory.
The post-race report reads as follows: “KULSUM bumped with an outer foe at the start, prompted the pace inside, lost ground in the three path around the turn, floated out to the five path at the top of the lane, but rallied into the final furlong, and inched ahead of the inner pacesetter in the final strides.
Nelson’s weekend four-timer was sealed in the eighth atop number seven Smooth Sicario again trained by u #7 Gonzalo Anderson.
The post-race report reads as follows: “SMOOTH SICARIO tracked in the two path, moved up along the rail to take command midway around the far turn, kicked away while in the two path at the top of the lane, and held sway.”
