9.00 miles today at an 8:26 pace, heart rate steady at 140 bpm — this one felt dialed in. That brings me to 26 miles out of 57 for the week as I keep stacking the work toward the Philadelphia Marathon on Nov 23 and my first 50-mile ultra coming up in March.
These midweek longer runs always test patience — not about speed, not about ego, just showing up and keeping that rhythm alive. Every mile right now is a small investment in what’s coming next.
