“I go under the alias 「サンセット Ｎｅｔｗｏｒｋ❾❶」 or @cyberrpunk_ on twitter. I have released projects
under 9 different alias’ so far. I have been on a few well known vaporwave labels such as Adhesive Sounds,
DMT, & Lost Angles. I also have a small hand in help running the Comfort Zones ‘3D Cast’.
I am [also] the label owner of FANTASY☆DELUXE. We make lo-fi diy vaporwave tapes. We do all of our production in
house and by hand. We have sold somewhere around 600 cassettes in our short lifetime and have featured
artists from England, Russia, Canada, Pennsylvania, Arkansas, Oregon, and Michigan.
IRL I am a 24 year old advertising design student at a college in the US.
I have been in love with sample based music since I was a child so stumbling upon vaporwave a
few years ago was really nice, I felt as if it was made just for me.
I cannot believe what it has all turned into, it has been a really fun experience carving out
my own corner in this little biome we call vaporwave. I have met a ton of awesome people
from all over the globe that I wouldn’t know otherwise and that also has been super cool,
shout out to all of you; you know who you are.”
